Epson TM-U220IIB — the kitchen printer that shrugs off grease and heat
A thermal printer is the wrong tool in a kitchen: thermal paper darkens next to the grill and fades in steam. The TM-U220IIB is an impact printer — it strikes ink onto plain paper that tolerates heat, and prints in two colours so modifiers and allergies stand out in red. This is the standard kitchen printer of the world's restaurants, and the IIB is its current generation with an auto-cutter.
