Epson TM-U295 — the form goes in, the printer fills it in

Some paperwork is not a receipt. A weighbridge ticket, a prescription, a waybill, a payment order: each is a pre-printed form with fields that need filling, and until now that has meant a pen and careful handwriting. Mistakes surface after the customer has driven off. The TM-U295 takes the form in at the front, prints the data onto it and pushes it back out. One machine at the counter instead of a writing desk beside it.

Built for places where dust and cold are permanent

The TM-U295 is an impact printer: it strikes the paper with a pin rather than burning an image with heat. Print does not fade in the archive or wash out in sunlight, and the mechanism survives sawmill, warehouse and workshop conditions. The same principle lets it write through carbon copy paper when a ticket needs two copies.

The old interface is the point

RS232 serial means it speaks the same language as the weighbridge software or pharmacy system that has been running for years. You do not have to replace the back office to get printing working.

Specifications

Before you order: the interface cable and power supply (Epson PS-180) are not included. Replacing an existing TM-U295 usually means the old parts carry over. For a new installation, order both at the same time — tell us and we will identify the right ones for you.

A good fit for

Sawmills and weighbridges, pharmacies, haulage firms and workshops — anywhere a pre-printed form has to be filled in legibly and by machine. Not a fit if you only need till receipts from a roll; a thermal receipt printer is faster and cheaper for that. White and black are the same machine, so pick whichever suits the counter. Prices incl.
