Citizen CT-S310II LAN — one printer, several tills

Once you have two counters, or the till is a tablet, a USB lead starts dictating where things stand. The network model is cabled once and given a fixed address; after that every till, tablet and back-office machine finds the same printer, and nobody shuffles the unit along the counter to reach the cable.

A network handles the rush better than a cable

Ethernet also means the printer does not have to live next to the till. The receipt can print under the counter, in the kitchen or at the packing bench — wherever the work happens — without pulling a new USB run through a wall.

Otherwise the same machine

160 mm/s, the automatic cutter and the drop-in roll under a button-release lid are identical to the serial model. The width adapter for 58 mm and 80 mm rolls is included, along with the EU mains lead and a wall-mount kit. USB is available alongside Ethernet if you want one till wired directly.

A good fit for

Businesses with more than one counter, a browser or tablet till, or a printer that sits in a different room from the till. Also right when you want receipts printing centrally from one place. Not a fit if you run a single till on a single computer and the cable reaches — the USB and serial version of the CT-S310II does the same job for less. Prices incl. VAT.
