Zebra ET401 enterprise tablet, 8", 5G, Wi-Fi 7, SR500 2D scanner, 8GB / 128GB, Android

Zebra ET401 – a tablet that scans barcodes and lasts the working day

A consumer tablet plus a separate handheld scanner means two devices to charge, two things to break and a Bluetooth pairing that drops when it is busy. In the ET401 the scanner is built into the tablet: the SR500 engine reads 1D and 2D codes even in bright sunlight and at longer range, and the 8-inch 1920 × 1200 display has room for the order, the product photo and the stock level at the same time.

It suits stores, wholesalers, service workshops and field teams who have a screen in hand all day. 5G with eSIM support keeps the connection up at the customer's site and in the yard. The battery is user-replaceable, and the manufacturer rates the housing for repeated 1.2 m drops to concrete (1.5 m with the optional rugged frame).

According to Zebra, the 6 GHz band of Wi-Fi 7 requires a separate Zebra DNA Enterprise licence; 2.4 and 5 GHz work without it. Rugged frame, charging and docking options and stylus are sold separately. No software is included – the tablet runs your own Android apps.

Businesses that need a bigger screen than a handheld offers and scan barcodes daily. If you scan hundreds of lines an hour, a handheld with a keypad is lighter to carry. We are happy to help with the choice and setup – just contact Vaivatta. Prices incl. VAT.
