Zebra DS2208 barcode scanner, 2D, USB, desk stand

Zebra DS2208 — the successor to the LS2208 legend, now with 2D

The LS2208 was the most common checkout scanner in Finland for a decade. The DS2208 is its direct successor on the same cable — but it reads QR codes and other 2D codes too, from paper and phone screens. Zebra's PRZM decoding handles worn and badly printed codes, and this kit version includes both the USB cable and a desk stand for hands-free reading.

• 2D imager: EAN, QR, Datamatrix, PDF417 — paper and screens
• Direct replacement for the LS2208 — the same cable fits
• Multi-interface: USB, RS232 and KBW; powered by the USB port
• USB cable and desk stand included for hands-free use
• IP52 rated — 60-month warranty

A good fit for: checkouts and service desks as the basic tool — and for every LS2208 owner whose scanner is wearing out: the swap happens without touching the cable. Prices incl. VAT.
