About
Zebra ZT421 – Label printing that keeps up, day after day
The Zebra ZT421 is a midrange thermal transfer label printer built to run in a warehouse, stockroom, or workshop without constant attention. At 300 dpi (12 dots/mm), barcodes stay sharp and text stays readable even on small labels — the kind of clarity that matters when a scanner has to read a label at arm's length on a busy packing bench.
Built-in cutter and colour touchscreen — ready out of the box
The integrated cutter separates each label automatically after printing. No tearing, no sticky residue on your fingers, no interruptions to the flow of work. The colour touchscreen puts settings where you can find them — you are not navigating blind through monochrome menus to change a media type or adjust darkness.
The real-time clock (RTC) keeps the correct date and time even after a power cut, so date-stamped labels are always accurate without anyone having to correct them manually.
Connectivity that fits your setup
The ZT421 connects the way your environment requires:
- USB (2 ports) — direct to a PC or via a memory device
- Ethernet — wired network for fixed workstation use
- Bluetooth — wire-free where cabling is awkward
- RS232 — older equipment or specialist environments
ZPL and ZPLII emulation means the printer talks directly to most warehouse management, point-of-sale, and ERP systems without additional drivers or middleware. If your software already prints to a Zebra, this one connects and works.
