About
Zebra ZT421 – a label printer that keeps up on your busiest days
The Zebra ZT421 is a mid-range thermal transfer label printer designed to handle the kind of workload that would wear out a lighter machine. Whether you're printing shelf labels in a retail shop, shipping labels for online orders, or part-identification tags in a workshop — this printer gets the job done quickly and reliably, without constant tweaking.
Prints fast enough that the queue never backs up
At up to 305 mm/s, labels come out before the next customer reaches the counter. The printer handles media up to 178 mm wide and rolls up to 203 mm in diameter, which means fewer roll changes in the middle of a busy afternoon. Print width goes up to 168 mm, so there's room for barcodes, text, and logos without cramping the layout.
Check settings from the printer itself
The colour touchscreen lets you adjust settings and check the printer's status directly on the unit — no laptop required. The built-in real-time clock (RTC) keeps the timestamp accurate on every label automatically, which matters when you're tracking deliveries or logging service jobs.
One printer, every system you already use
Connectivity covers two USB ports, RS232, Ethernet, and Bluetooth. The ZT421 supports EPL, ZPL, and ZPLII emulations, so it slots into most existing point-of-sale systems and ERP software without extra investment or reconfiguration. With 256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash on board, larger label templates store directly on the printer without slowing anything down.
What's in the box
The package includes power cables for both EU and UK outlets. An interface cable is ordered separately based on your setup. Warranty is 24 months. Country of origin: China.
