Zebra ZT231 – Mid-range label printing for busy small businesses

The Zebra ZT231 is a thermal transfer label printer designed for daily, heavy-duty use. At 300 dpi (12 dots/mm), barcodes and small text come out sharp and legible every single time — no squinting, no rescans at the counter.

The printer handles media up to 114 mm wide with a maximum print width of 104 mm and accepts roll diameters up to 203 mm, covering the vast majority of standard label stock you'll find from any supplier. Print speed reaches 203 mm/s, so your staff aren't standing at the packing table waiting for labels to catch up with the work.

Built-in peeler takes one task off your plate

The integrated peeler separates each label from its backing as it comes out of the printer. No more peeling by hand between every shelf tag or dispatch label — the printer does it, and the label is ready to apply straight away. For a shop or workshop running through dozens of labels a shift, that adds up.

The colour touchscreen lets you check the printer's status and adjust settings directly on the device, without needing to go back to a computer. If a roll runs out mid-job, you'll see it immediately.

Connects to whatever you already have

The ZT231 offers four connection options so it fits your existing setup without extra adaptors:

Enough memory to keep jobs moving

With 256 MB RAM and 256 MB Flash on board, you can store fonts, graphics, and label templates directly on the printer. Print jobs run smoothly even when your network connection is slow or drops briefly — the printer doesn't need to fetch everything from a server each time.

The box includes a power supply unit and power cable with both EU and UK plugs. The printer carries a 24-month warranty and is manufactured in China.
