About
Zebra ZT231 – Label printing that keeps up with your day
The Zebra ZT231 is a midrange direct thermal label printer built to handle continuous use in a shop, stockroom, or workshop. It prints at up to 305 mm/s, so labels come out without a queue — even when the afternoon rush hits.
Connects to whatever you already have
The ZT231 comes with every connection you're likely to need: USB, USB Host, RS232, Ethernet, Wi-Fi (802.11ac), and Bluetooth BLE are all standard. Plug it into a desktop, drop it onto your wireless network, or wire it into your existing point-of-sale or inventory system — no extra adapters or add-on modules required.
Status at a glance
The LCD display shows the printer's current state and settings without any guesswork. You can see immediately whether the printer is ready, whether the label roll needs changing, or whether a connection has dropped — no need to send a test print to find out.
Works with the label software you already use
The ZT231 supports EPL, ZPL, and ZPLII — the most widely used printer command languages in the industry. If you already have label design software or an ERP system in place, there's a good chance the ZT231 will talk to it straight out of the box, with no extra configuration needed.

Where it fits
The ZT231 suits retailers printing price or shelf labels every day, workshops that print job cards for each booking, and small stockrooms where every item needs a clear tag before it moves on. It's compact enough to sit on a counter or shelf, but solid enough to handle a busier back-of-house environment without complaints.
