Zebra ZD621R — a label printer that gets on with the job

The Zebra ZD621R is a desktop thermal transfer label printer designed to handle professional daily use without fuss. Whether you're running a busy stockroom, a retail floor, a workshop, or a kitchen that labels everything that leaves the pass, this printer keeps up without asking for attention.

Print resolution is 300 dpi (12 dots/mm), so barcodes, price tag text, and address labels come out sharp — even when the font is small and the scanner has to read it first time.

Speed and media sizes

Maximum print speed is 152 mm/s, which means the queue clears even on a busy afternoon. Maximum media width is 118 mm, maximum print width is 108 mm, and the roll diameter goes up to 127 mm — so you're not stopping mid-shift to swap a roll.

Built-in UHF RFID writer

The ZD621R includes an integrated UHF RFID writer. It prints and programmes RFID labels in a single pass, which removes a separate step from inventory and product-tracking workflows. One device does what previously took two.

Colour touchscreen and real-time clock

The colour touchscreen lets you change settings directly on the printer without touching a computer. The real-time clock (RTC) adds date and time to labels automatically — useful for best-before markings, dispatch notes, or anything where the timestamp matters and you'd rather not type it in by hand.

Connectivity

The ZD621R connects over USB, USB Host, RS232, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Ethernet. That covers the vast majority of existing point-of-sale systems and ERP setups without needing extra adapters. Black Mark Sensor and Gap Sensor detect media type automatically, so you're not configuring the printer every time you change label stock.

Memory and what's in the box

With 256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash, the printer holds multiple label templates on board — no need to send every job from a connected computer. The box includes a USB cable, power supply unit, and power cables for both EU and UK sockets.
