The Zebra ZD421 is a compact desktop thermal-transfer label printer built for daily professional use. Whether you're printing price tags on Monday morning, shipping labels before the Postnord pick-up, or date labels for the kitchen, this printer gets it done without constant fiddling.

Sharp prints that scanners read first time

At 300 dpi (12 dots/mm), barcodes and text come out crisp enough that a scanner picks them up on the first pass. No re-scanning, no customers waiting at the counter while you sort out a smudged label. Maximum print speed reaches 102 mm/s — plenty of headroom even on a busy Friday afternoon.

Connects to whatever you already have

The ZD421 comes with USB, USB Host, Bluetooth (BLE), and Ethernet built in. Plug it into your till, pair it to a tablet, or tuck it in a corner and use it wirelessly — it works with your existing setup rather than forcing you to change it.

Real-time clock for accurate date labels

The built-in real-time clock (RTC) stamps the correct date and time directly onto each label. Useful for food-prep labels, packaging dates, or any situation where the date needs to be right without a staff member writing it by hand. One less thing to check.

Detects your label stock automatically

Black Mark Sensor and Gap Sensor identify the label media you're using without any manual adjustment. Swap rolls, switch between label types — the ZD421 recognises the change and carries on. You don't need to dig through settings every time.
