The Zebra ZD421 is a compact desktop label printer built for daily, heavy-duty use. There are no ink cartridges and no ribbons — heat does the work directly on the label stock. That means fewer consumables to reorder, fewer mid-shift breakdowns, and one less thing to manage during a busy day.

The ZD421 supports USB, USB Host, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi (802.11ac). Connect it to your till directly over USB, pair it wirelessly to a tablet, or drop it into your existing network — whichever fits your setup. Bluetooth is particularly handy when you need to print a label at the counter or in the stockroom without running cables across the floor.

The Right Label at the Right Moment

Print speed reaches up to 152 mm/s, with a maximum print width of 104 mm and maximum media width of 108 mm. Both a gap sensor and a black mark sensor are built in, so the printer detects different label formats automatically — no manual fiddling when you switch rolls. The maximum roll diameter is 127 mm, meaning a large roll fits without constant swapping.

The real-time clock (RTC) keeps date and time accurate even after the printer has been switched off overnight. A practical detail if you print best-before labels or price tags that need a correct date stamp every time.
