Thermal transfer printing delivers crisp output at 203 dpi and a top speed of 152 mm per second. Maximum print width is 104 mm, so the ZD421 covers everything from small price tags to wider product labels. Roll diameter goes up to 127 mm — a large roll fits inside, which means fewer mid-rush paper changes when the counter is busy.
Connects to your till, phone, or computer
The ZD421 comes with USB, USB Host, and Bluetooth Low Energy. The wireless Bluetooth connection lets you print straight from a tablet or phone — no cable clutter on the desk. The USB Host port also allows direct printing without a computer in the loop, handy when you need a quick workaround.
Real-time clock keeps your labels accurate
The built-in real-time clock (RTC) automatically stamps the correct date and time on every printout. Useful for best-before labels, dispatch notes, or any situation where getting the time right matters.
Recognises label stock automatically
The ZD421 carries both a Black Mark Sensor and a Gap Sensor, so it detects your label material type on its own. Switch between label rolls without digging through settings — the printer adapts.
