Zebra OneCare Essential is Zebra's own service and support programme designed to keep your VC83 running day in, day out — and to give you a clear, predictable path back to full operation when something does go wrong.

What the agreement covers

This plan comes with Comprehensive Coverage, Zebra's broadest standard service tier. On top of ordinary wear and tear, it covers accidental damage — the drops, knocks, and bumps that happen in real warehouse and logistics work and that a standard manufacturer's warranty simply does not cover.

When your device arrives at Zebra's service centre, the target repair turnaround is 3 business days. You know upfront how long the terminal will be out of action; no waiting for a quote, no negotiating repair costs case by case.

The agreement runs for a full 5 years, covering the entire working life of the terminal under a single contract. No annual renewals, no gaps in coverage, and no paperwork to revisit every spring.

One important deadline

This plan must be activated within 30 days of purchasing the VC83 unit. It cannot be added retrospectively once that window has closed. The simplest approach is to sort it at the same time as the terminal itself — contact Vaivatta and we will make sure the activation goes through correctly.
