The Zebra OneCare Essential is Zebra's official service agreement for the TC22 handheld terminal. It keeps your device supported and repaired through Zebra's authorised service network for a full five years — with no separate negotiations each time something goes wrong.
What this means in practice
When a handheld terminal is in daily use — on the shop floor, in the stockroom, or out in the field — a device failure has real consequences. Staff stop, queues build, jobs stall. With OneCare Essential in place, you have a clear, pre-agreed path to getting the device fixed. You know in advance what the support costs, and there are no unexpected repair bills landing on your desk.
The agreement covers standard device faults and gives you access to Zebra's official repair network for the entire contract period. No scrambling for quotes, no one-off negotiations.
Who is this for?
OneCare Essential is designed for businesses running the Zebra TC22 in active daily use. Handheld terminals take knocks — drops, moisture, constant handling. This agreement ensures that when wear or a fault catches up with the device, the support is already there and ready, without any gap in cover.
If you operate several TC22 units, note that one agreement covers one device. Order a separate OneCare Essential for each unit you want covered.
Activate within 30 days of purchase
This is the one deadline that matters: the agreement must be activated within 30 days of purchasing the TC22. After that window closes, activation is no longer possible.
