The Colormetrics V1500 is built for the kind of daily punishment that comes with running a busy café, restaurant, or retail counter. The 15-inch resistive touchscreen responds to your finger whether your hands are wet, gloved, or greasy — fewer interruptions exactly when the queue is longest.

No fan, no noise, no dust

The V1500 has no moving parts. That means three practical things: it runs silently, it doesn't pull dust and grease into its internals, and there are fewer wearing parts than in a conventional POS computer. In a kitchen or behind a bar where the air is heavy with steam and particles, that difference adds up over the years — less cleaning, fewer component failures, longer service life.

Enough processing power to keep your till software moving

An Intel Celeron Quad Core processor running at 2.0 GHz, 4 GB RAM, and a 128 GB SSD keep your POS software running smoothly. Unlike a spinning hard drive, the SSD doesn't slow down over time — startup stays fast even after years of daily use. The 1024×768 panel at 350 cd/m² stays readable even in bright counter lighting.

Ports for everything on your counter

Six USB ports cover your receipt printer, barcode scanner, customer-facing display, and other peripherals without reaching for an extra hub. Three RS232 serial ports handle cash drawers, scales, or payment terminals. Gigabit Ethernet keeps the connection stable when the Wi-Fi is struggling during a lunch rush. An RJ11 cash drawer output and VGA output for a second screen are included as standard, along with an audio port.

Setup and compatibility

The V1500 ships with a power supply unit and power cable included. The operating system is ordered separately, so you can choose the Windows licence or other option that fits your current setup.
