The iiyama ProLite TF1734MC-B7X is built for exactly that: the open-frame construction drops straight into a counter cut-out or cash-wrap enclosure, and the IP65-rated surface shrugs off coffee splashes and damp cloth wipe-downs without any special treatment.

Touch that keeps up with a lunchtime rush

Projected Capacitive technology tracks ten touch points at once. In practice, that means two members of staff can work the same screen side by side during a busy spell without inputs crossing. The 5 ms response time means the screen registers each tap immediately — no waiting on the display before you move to the next item.

Connects to the checkout setup you already have

The monitor accepts VGA, DisplayPort, and HDMI, so it works alongside most till computers and mini-PCs without an adapter swap. Touch runs over USB — in most cases the operating system recognises the device straight away, with no separate drivers to install. USB, HDMI, and DisplayPort cables ship in the box along with the power supply and power cable, so you rarely need to order anything extra. If your setup does need an adapter, that can be ordered separately.

Straightforward to mount

VESA 100×100 mm mounting points mean the display fits standard brackets directly. The 5:4 panel at 1280×1024 pixels is the native format most POS software is designed around — menus and buttons stay crisp without any scaling workarounds. At 315 cd/m² brightness and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, the screen stays readable even in a brightly lit shop floor or café counter.
