About
Printronix T83X4 – Industrial Label Printer
The Printronix T83X4 is a thermal-transfer label printer designed to handle continuous, demanding workloads in warehouses, production floors, and logistics environments. When your labelling line runs all day, the printer should not be the reason things grind to a halt.
Sharp output, fast pace
At 300 dpi — 12 dots per millimetre — barcodes, text, and graphics come out clean enough to scan reliably on the first pass. Maximum print width is 104 mm and media width reaches 114 mm, so even your largest label formats print without compromise. Top speed is 305 mm/s, meaning large batches get done without taking up the whole shift.
Connectivity included out of the box
USB 2.0, RS232, and Ethernet are all built in, so the T83X4 connects directly to a single workstation or plugs straight into your office or production network. No add-on cards or adapters required — everything you need is already in the box.
Enough memory to keep things moving
512 MB RAM and 128 MB Flash let you store fonts, graphics, and label templates locally. Print jobs do not slow down even when a label carries a lot of elements — the processor has room to work.
Accurate media handling
Black Mark Sensor and Gap Sensor ensure the printer reads media correctly and positions the print area precisely between labels. Mis-feeds are rare, and waste stays low even during long runs.
What's in the box
The T83X4 ships with an internal power supply unit and an EU power cable, so it is ready to use as soon as it is installed. Warranty is 24 months. Manufactured in Taiwan. Maximum roll diameter: 203 mm.
