About
Zebra SP7201-V — Presentation Scanner for the Retail Checkout
The Zebra SP7201-V is a countertop 2D barcode scanner built for daily, high-volume use at the till. It reads all common 1D and 2D barcodes — including codes displayed on a customer's phone screen — without asking the customer to hold the item at a particular angle or keep it perfectly still.
EAS Tag Deactivation Built Right In
The SP7201-V includes an integrated EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) deactivation function. That means your staff can scan the barcode and remove the security tag in a single motion — no separate deactivation pad sitting next to the register. Fewer devices on the counter, faster service at the till.
Digimarc Support for Hidden Watermarks
The scanner supports Digimarc technology, which reads product information from invisible watermarks embedded in the packaging surface. Items scan reliably even when the traditional barcode is creased, partially covered, or damaged — no more holding up the queue while a staff member hunts for a clean label.

A Good Fit For
