About
Cardpresso Upgrade Licence: XXS to XL
If you already have Cardpresso XXS but find yourself hitting its limits, this upgrade licence moves your software directly to XL level. One licence key entered into your existing installation — no reinstall, no learning a new interface, no lost templates.
What changes when you move to XL?
Cardpresso XXS is a solid starting point, but once your card volumes grow or your designs get more complex, you'll notice the ceiling. XL removes it:
- Unlimited card template library — save as many templates as your operation needs, with no cap
- Database connections — link card designs directly to your customer list, staff register, or any external database, so names and photos pull through automatically
- Advanced encoding — magnetic stripe, contact chip, and contactless encoding all handled from the same software you already know
- Batch printing — print a full run of cards in one go, without manually stepping through each one
These features matter most for businesses issuing staff ID cards, membership cards, or loyalty cards to more than a few dozen people a month. Below that volume, XXS may still be enough — but if you're reading this, it probably isn't.
Works with the hardware you already have
The upgrade licence is compatible with the Evolis card printers already on your desk. No new hardware required — the licence alone unlocks the additional capabilities.
Country of origin
The software is developed and licensed in Germany (DE).
Getting started
You receive your licence key by email. Enter it into your existing Cardpresso installation and XL-level features are available straight away. If anything is unclear during activation, get in touch with Vaivatta and we'll sort it out.

Upgrading makes sense when your current licence is getting in the way and installing a completely different product isn't appealing. Same familiar interface — considerably more room to work.
