If you're already running Cardpresso XXS Lite but finding it too limiting, this upgrade licence takes your software directly to XXL. You're not buying a fresh copy — you pay only the difference between the two tiers and carry on working in the familiar environment you already know.

What changes at XXL level?

Cardpresso XXL is built for more demanding card production. Where XXS Lite covers straightforward ID-card printing for a small team, XXL opens up considerably more:

• ·Database connections: XXL supports direct links to external databases, so card data updates automatically — no manual re-entry each time staff details change.
• ·More advanced card design: More complex templates, a wider choice of fonts, and tighter control over exactly how each card looks.
• ·Higher production volumes: XXL is the right fit when you're printing cards regularly for a growing headcount, multiple departments, or external clients.
• ·Broader hardware support: Compatible with a wider range of card printers and encoders, including the full feature set of evolis card printers.

Who should upgrade?

The upgrade makes sense when XXS Lite starts to feel like it's getting in the way. Common situations:

• ·Your headcount is growing and producing cards one at a time is taking too long.
• ·You want to connect card design directly to your HR or client database and stop copying data by hand.
• ·You're printing cards for more than one department, or for external organisations.

How the upgrade works in practice

The licence is delivered electronically. Once you receive your licence key, you activate it inside your existing Cardpresso installation — no separate reinstall is needed. All the card templates and settings you've built up are preserved exactly as they were.

Cardpresso is designed to work seamlessly with evolis card printers. If you already have an evolis printer on your desk, the XXL tier uses its full capabilities rather than leaving features idle.
