About
Zebra RS2100 – Wireless 2D Barcode Scanner for Daily Use
The Zebra RS2100 is a compact, cordless barcode scanner built for the day-to-day pace of a shop floor, café counter, or workshop. It runs Zebra's SE4770 scanning engine, which handles both traditional 1D barcodes and modern 2D codes — including ones that are slightly worn, crumpled, or poorly printed.
No cables to trip over
The RS2100 connects to your point-of-sale terminal or computer over Bluetooth, so there's no cable snaking across the counter. NFC support makes pairing quick: hold the scanner near a compatible host device for a moment and the connection is done. That matters when you're setting up a new checkout station or swapping in a replacement — no IT person required.
Handles drops and splashes
The IP54 rating means the scanner shrugs off dust and liquid splashes. In plain terms: if it slides off the counter onto the shop floor, you won't need to call for a replacement that same afternoon. For any environment where a scanner gets passed around or set down quickly, that kind of durability saves real time.
Ready to scan straight out of the box
A 480 mAh battery is included in the box, so the RS2100 is ready to use from the moment it arrives. A hand strap is available separately — if your team carries the scanner around the floor all day, it's worth adding to the order.
Simple to connect
Most point-of-sale systems recognise the RS2100 as a standard HID device, which means no driver installation in the typical case. If anything doesn't behave as expected during setup, get in touch with Vaivatta and we'll work through it with you.
