The Colormetrics C1400 is designed around what a till point actually needs to do: hold up through a busy lunch service, print a receipt without hesitation, and sit on the counter without a tangle of extra cables. Everything essential is built into one compact black unit.

A touchscreen that keeps up when things get busy

The 14-inch (35.5 cm) display uses projected capacitive touch technology, which reads a fingertip accurately without needing extra pressure. At 1366 × 768 pixels and 203 dpi, the image stays sharp and readable even under bright café lighting. When the Friday evening rush hits and the queue is three deep, a screen that responds first time every time matters more than any spec sheet figure.

Processing power sized for the job

Inside you get an Intel Core i3 running at 2.2 GHz with 4 GB RAM — enough to run your till software smoothly without the lag that breaks your flow mid-service. The M.2 128 GB SSD means the system boots quickly and your software opens without a wait. An SSD also handles knocks and vibration better than a traditional hard drive, so there is one less thing to worry about under the counter.

Integrated receipt printer — one less device on the counter

The receipt printer is built directly into the C1400 housing. The counter stays clear, there are fewer cables to manage, and you have one less device to service or replace. A cash drawer kickout connection is already included, so you can add a drawer whenever you need one.

Connections ready for the most common add-ons

Four USB 3.0 ports, two RS232 serial ports, and an Ethernet connection cover the typical peripherals: card readers, barcode scanners, and a wired network. You will not need a separate USB hub to get your setup running.

What is in the box — and what you order separately

The unit ships with a power supply and power cable. The operating system is ordered separately, which means you choose the software environment that fits your business rather than paying for something pre-loaded that may not suit you.
