Charges while docked, with a port free for peripherals

The cradle does more than hold the device. Power comes in through a 5.5 mm DC connection (5.4 V input, cable approximately 100 cm), so the TC8300 charges automatically whenever it's docked. A built-in USB-A 2.0 cable (approximately 25 cm, 500 mA at 5 V output) gives you a ready connection for a barcode scanner, receipt printer, or other peripheral — no extra hub needed.

Fits into a wider RAM Mounts installation

The back of the cradle is prepared for a RAM diamond ball base (sold separately), so it slots straight into any existing RAM Mounts setup. That means you can move the whole assembly between a vehicle mount, a forklift bracket, or a wall plate without replacing the cradle itself.
