This RAM Mounts GDS holder is built for Zebra TC2x- and TC5x-series handhelds running an IntelliSkin protective case. Dock the device and it charges over USB-C straight away — no separate cable connection every time you set it down.

Key-lock keeps shared devices where they belong

The built-in key-lock stops anyone from lifting the device out of the cradle without authorisation. If your handheld is shared between staff members, left at a checkout desk, or stored in a warehouse between shifts, this keeps it in place. An authorised user can release it quickly when needed — the lock adds security without slowing down legitimate use.

Spring-loaded design holds the device firm

To dock the device, pull the top of the cradle upward, seat the handheld, and release. The spring-loaded mechanism clicks the device in firmly — it won't rattle or work itself loose during the day. Importantly, the scanner and buttons along the top edge of the device remain fully exposed and usable while the device sits in the cradle, so your staff don't need to remove it just to scan a barcode.

No need to strip the device before docking

The back of the holder has room for an extended battery pack and the Zebra hand strap, so you don't have to reconfigure the device every time it goes into or comes out of the cradle. The rear is also prepared for a diamond ball base mount, available separately, if you need to fit the cradle to a vehicle, wall arm, or other surface.

Compatibility — IntelliSkin case is required

This holder works only with the IntelliSkin protective case for the Zebra TC22/27 or TC53/58. Without the IntelliSkin case the device will not seat correctly. Before ordering, confirm that your devices already use a compatible IntelliSkin case — or contact Vaivatta and we will check with you.
