Pull the upper part of the cradle upward, place the device in position, and let go. The spring-loaded mechanism locks it firmly in place — no fiddling with clips or adjustments. Charging starts immediately once the device is seated correctly.

Scanner and buttons stay accessible

The holder is designed so the device's top scanner and buttons remain fully exposed while it sits in the dock. Your staff can scan barcodes or use the side buttons without lifting the device out — no interruption to the workflow mid-task.

Fits standard and extended battery packs

The back of the holder is shaped to accommodate both standard and extended battery packs, including with the Zebra hand strap attached. You are not forced to swap accessories just to use the dock — the device goes in as it is.

Ready for a full mounting setup

The rear of the holder is prepared for a diamond ball base attachment, giving you a straightforward path to vehicle mounts, desk mounts, or any other RAM Mounts component your setup calls for. The ball base itself is not included, but the compatibility is built in.
