About

RAM Mounts Connecting Arm — flexible mounting for your mobile terminal

This RAM Mounts connecting arm is built to hold a mobile terminal firmly in place, whether you're running a busy checkout counter or organising a stockroom. At approximately 94 mm, the medium-length arm gives you enough reach to position a screen or scanner where it actually needs to be — not just where the desk happens to end.

Both ends use RAM's 1-inch B-Ball socket, which means you can adjust the angle of your terminal to suit your working position. Once tightened, it stays put — no gradual drift during a long shift.

Where this arm earns its keep

  • Checkout counters — get the terminal off the worktop and free up space for the customer
  • Stockrooms and packing benches — keep a scanner at a fixed, comfortable height instead of leaving it dangling
  • Shop floors — mount a tablet or barcode reader in a fixed but fully rotatable position
  • Vehicles — the ball-and-socket joint handles vibration without loosening over time

Compatible with what you already have

RAM Mounts components are designed to work within the same product family. If you already have a RAM base or head installed, this arm will most likely connect straight into your existing setup — no need to replace everything at once. The 1-inch B-Ball standard is the most widely used across the RAM range, so compatibility with other components tends to be straightforward.

Before ordering, it's worth confirming that your current base and head components are also 1-inch B-Ball compatible. If you're not sure, our team at Vaivatta can check for you.

Built for daily use

The arm is made from reinforced materials designed to take the knocks of everyday business. The manufacturer backs it with a 36-month warranty — a sign they expect it to last. Country of origin: China.

No specialist knowledge needed

Fitting the arm is a matter of screwing both ends into place. No special tools, no technical training required. If you run into a question during installation or want to double-check that this arm works with your current configuration, get in touch with Vaivatta and we'll work through it together.
