The Honeywell PX940 is built for environments where a label printer runs shift after shift — in a warehouse, on a production line, or at a busy dispatch bench. Thermal-transfer printing keeps every label sharp and readable, even when you're swapping ribbon rolls multiple times a day.

Print Performance

At 203 dpi and up to 350 mm/s, labels come off the printer fast enough that your line never has to wait. Maximum media width is 114 mm and print width is 108 mm, which covers the vast majority of logistics and production labelling jobs. The ribbon core is 25.4 mm and the label roll fits up to a 213 mm diameter — so you can load large rolls and reduce how often someone has to stop and reload.

Connectivity and Memory

Three USB ports, an RS232 serial port and a 10/100 Mbit Ethernet connection mean the PX940 fits into almost any setup: plugged directly into a single workstation or shared across a network so several users can send jobs to the same printer. With 1 GB RAM and 256 MB Flash on board, the printer handles large label templates and queued jobs without slowing down.

Easier to Run Day to Day

The built-in touchscreen lets you adjust settings directly on the printer — no need to go back to a computer to change a media type or tweak a template. The real-time clock (RTC) opens the door to time-stamped labels and scheduled print jobs without any extra hardware. Black Mark and Gap sensors detect different label materials automatically, so when you switch media types, the printer adjusts itself rather than waiting for someone to update detection settings manually.
