Print Quality That Holds Up

The PX65A prints at 203 dpi (8 dots/mm) using thermal transfer — meaning the ink is heat-fused onto the label through a ribbon. The result holds up to heat, moisture, and handling far better than direct thermal labels. Barcodes stay scannable and text stays legible even after time on a shelf or a trip through the post.

Speed When You Need It

At up to 225 mm per second, the printer gets through a stack of labels before they start piling up. If you print shipping labels for a batch of orders at once, or reprice a whole product line before opening, you will not be standing at the printer waiting. Media width goes up to 170 mm and print width up to 167.4 mm, so the same machine handles both small price-tag labels and wider courier address labels.

The PX65A connects over Ethernet (10/100 Mbit), so it sits on your office or warehouse network like any other device — no cable running back to a single computer. RS232 and USB are included as well, which means it works with older point-of-sale systems just as readily as newer ones. No additional adaptors needed in most setups.

With 256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash, the printer can store multiple label templates locally. Once your layouts are loaded, the printer can work without a connected computer for every job — useful if your setup has the printer away from the main desk.

The colour screen shows current status, error messages, and settings at a glance. If a label roll runs out mid-batch or media feeds crooked, you see it immediately on the display — no guessing, no wasted run.
