Evolis Primacy 2 — Professional Card Printer with Contactless Reader

Print quality and speed

The printer uses thermal transfer technology (dye sublimation, 4-colour) to produce sharp, durable prints at 300 dpi. Maximum output is 300 cards per hour, so even a larger run is done without a long wait. The input hopper holds up to 100 cards at once, which means you can load a batch and get on with other things rather than standing over the machine.

Contactless reader and smartcard writer — one device

A SpringCard Crazy Writer HSP Contactless reader is built directly into the unit. Access-control and contactless-payment cards can be programmed at the same time as they are printed, with no separate encoding station needed. The integrated smartcard writer also handles chip cards, so encoding and printing happen in one step rather than two.

Day-to-day use

The touch LCD display shows the printer's status at a glance — you can see what is happening without navigating menus.
