The scanner supports Digimarc technology, which lets it read invisible digital codes embedded directly into product packaging — no separate barcode needed. In practice, this means faster product identification at the till and fewer fumbles when a printed barcode is obscured, torn, or simply hard to find on the pack.

The housing meets both IP65 and IP67 ratings, meaning it handles dust, water splashes, and brief submersion.
