About

Honeywell PD45 – Label printing that keeps up with your day

The Honeywell PD45 is built for situations where the printer simply has to work — shift after shift, without constant fiddling. As a midrange thermal transfer printer, it fits naturally into shops, workshops, and cafés that print labels regularly, whether that's price tags, shipping labels, or job sheets.

Keeps pace even on your busiest days

At 250 mm per second, a stack of labels won't cause a queue at the counter or packing table. Maximum media width is 114 mm and maximum roll diameter is 203 mm, so you're not swapping rolls every hour. The built-in peeler separates labels automatically, and the rewinder collects the backing paper neatly out of the way. In practice, your staff won't be peeling labels by hand or watching backing tape pile up on the table.

Label Taken Sensor keeps the process under control

The Label Taken Sensor detects when a label has been removed before the printer moves on to the next one. This prevents duplicate prints and mix-ups even when things get hectic. The Black Mark Sensor and Gap Sensor automatically recognise different label stock sizes, so switching media types doesn't mean working through a lengthy recalibration process.

Colour display — the situation is clear at a glance

The colour display shows printer status, error messages, and media information directly on the unit. You can see what's going on without needing a separate computer to diagnose the issue.

Connectivity that covers typical small-business setups

USB (Type B) and USB Host allow a direct connection to a computer and let you plug USB devices — such as barcode scanners — straight into the printer. Ethernet (10/100 Mbit) puts the printer on your network so several people can print from the same unit. Network setup works without complicated configuration.

Works with the systems you already have

The PD45 supports ZPLII, ZSim II, IPL, and DPL emulation, which means it works with most label design software and point-of-sale systems without separate drivers or conversion work. If you're already using any of these formats, the PD45 is ready to print straight away.
