About
Honeywell PD45 – Label Printer for Daily Use
The Honeywell PD45 is a midrange thermal-transfer label printer designed to hold up under the kind of everyday pressure that comes with running a busy shop, kitchen, or workshop. When you have a queue at the counter or a stack of parcels going out the door, the last thing you need is a printer that slows you down.
At up to 250 mm/s, labels come out fast — the printer keeps pace with you rather than the other way around.
Connections and Setup
The PD45 connects via USB (Type B), USB Host, and 10/100 Mbit Ethernet. The Ethernet port means you can drop it straight onto your existing network and let several people send print jobs to the same printer at once — no extra hardware needed.
The colour display shows the printer's status clearly at a glance. You can see whether it's ready, printing, or needs attention without having to guess or walk over and peer at a tiny indicator light.
Works With What You Already Have
The PD45 supports four emulations: ZPLII, ZSim II, IPL, and DPL. In practice, this means it slots into most existing point-of-sale systems and stock management software without a driver project. If you're already printing labels somewhere in your workflow, the chances are good that the PD45 speaks the same language.
With a maximum media width of 114 mm and a print width of 108 mm, it covers the common label sizes — from shelf tags to shipping labels.
