Panasonic Gamber Johnson charging-/communication station
Panasonic Gamber Johnson charging and communication station turns your TOUGHBOOK G1 or G2 tablet into a full workstation — all connections ready, battery charging at the same time.
About
Panasonic Gamber Johnson Charging and Communication Station
When your TOUGHBOOK tablet comes in from the field — back to the vehicle or the office — this station takes over: it charges the battery and connects everything at once. No unplugging and re-plugging individual cables. One dock, one motion, and you're back on the wired network with all peripherals live.
Connections built for real work
The station gives you:
- 1 × Ethernet — a wired connection holds steady when you're transferring large files or pushing software updates, where Wi-Fi tends to let you down
- 2 × USB 3.0 — run a barcode scanner, a memory stick, and a backup drive at the same time
- 1 × RS-232 — serial port for older industrial equipment that's still in daily use in workshops, warehouses, and field fleets
- 1 × HDMI and 1 × VGA — mirror or extend to an external monitor or projector without hunting for adapters
Mounting and security
The station has a VESA 75 drilling pattern, so it fits standard mounting brackets without modification. The lock is alike-keyed, meaning the same key works across multiple Gamber Johnson stations — straightforward if you're running several units across a fleet.
Vehicle mount and vehicle power supply are ordered separately, so you only pay for what your setup actually needs.
Compatibility
Designed specifically for the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK G1 and G2 tablets. If you're not certain whether it fits your device configuration, get in touch with Vaivatta and we'll check for you.
Warranty and origin
Comes with a 12-month warranty and is manufactured in the United Kingdom.

This station suits businesses where the TOUGHBOOK travels between the field and the office every day: transport, field service, warehousing, or any mobile role where the same tablet does both jobs. The transition becomes seamless — no fiddling, no extra steps.
