About
Gamber & Johnson Vehicle Cradle for Toughbook G2
When your work happens behind the wheel, the last thing you need is a tablet sliding around every time you hit a pothole. This Gamber & Johnson vehicle cradle is built specifically for the Panasonic Toughbook G2, holding it firmly in position so you can read the screen and enter data without fighting the mount.
Built for daily professional use
The cradle includes electronics for charging and data transfer while the vehicle is running — no need to unplug and replug at the start and end of every shift. That small detail adds up when you are in and out of the vehicle ten times a day.
One thing to check before ordering: this model does not include a dual antenna pass-through. If your setup requires antenna connectivity, verify compatibility with your specific configuration before purchasing. A keyboard is also required separately and is not included in the box.
Fits the Toughbook G2 — and only the G2
The cradle is designed exclusively for the Toughbook G2 form factor. Other models in the Toughbook range will not seat correctly, so confirm you have the right tablet before placing your order.
Getting it installed
Mounting the cradle in your vehicle requires a separate docking base or pole mount, sold independently. If you are unsure which mounting solution works for your vehicle type or need help sourcing the right combination of parts, contact Vaivatta — we will point you in the right direction without making it a project.
