About
Datalogic PowerScan 9600 RFID – two technologies, one device
When your warehouse or shop needs to read both barcodes and RFID tags, a standard scanner leaves you one tool short. The PowerScan 9600 RFID combines a 2D imaging barcode reader and a UHF RFID reader (865–868 MHz) in a single handheld device. You don't need two separate scanners or two separate workflows — one device handles both jobs.
Wireless, without sacrificing reliability
Bluetooth keeps your staff free from cables while they move through the warehouse or across the shop floor. Multi-interface support — RS232 and USB — means the scanner connects to whatever system you're already running, whether that's a point-of-sale setup or a stock management platform. If you change systems down the road, the scanner comes with you.
Built to survive a working day
IP65 and IP67 protection means dust can't get in and water can't do damage. Drop it on a concrete floor, catch it with a hose-down at the end of the shift, or use it in a cold storage area — it keeps going. This is the kind of scanner that won't let you down on your busiest Friday.
A battery that lasts the shift
The 3,350 mAh battery is removable. When one shift ends and another begins, you swap the battery — you don't wait for the whole device to charge back up. The charging cradle and interface cable are ordered separately, so you can spec exactly as many docking stations as your workstations need, without paying for hardware you won't use.
Document capture without an extra device
The built-in document capture function lets staff scan delivery notes, freight documents, or any paper record straight from the handheld. One less device on the belt, one less thing to lose between the loading bay and the office.
16 quantity keys speed up picking
The 16 dedicated quantity keys let a picker enter item counts directly on the scanner — no taking your hand off the device, no hunting for a separate keyboard. It sounds like a small detail, and it is, but at the end of a long picking shift those seconds add up.
Warranty and origin
The Datalogic PowerScan 9600 RFID carries a 36-month warranty. Manufactured in Vietnam.
