Colormetrics P4500 – a POS system that stays out of your way

The Colormetrics P4500 is built for daily hard use in cafés, restaurants, and retail shops. The 15-inch projected capacitive touchscreen responds accurately even when orders are coming in fast on a busy evening. The fanless design means no moving parts — no fan noise, no dust build-up, and none of the mechanical failures that come with spinning components.

Ready when you need it

An Intel Core i5 processor running at 2.5 GHz and a 128 GB SSD keep your POS software quick from the moment you switch on. Unlike a traditional hard drive, the SSD doesn't slow down under pressure, and the system boots fast. 4 GB of RAM handles typical POS applications without stuttering.

Connections for everything on the counter

Eight USB ports cover barcode scanners, card readers, and other peripherals — no extra hub required. Four RS232 serial ports mean the reliable older hardware you already own keeps working. Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbit) handles the connection to your POS software, and the RJ11 drawer kickout port connects your cash drawer directly.

There is also a VGA output if you need a second display or customer-facing screen.

A screen you can actually read

At 350 cd/m² brightness, the display stays legible in sunny spaces and brightly lit checkout areas. Projected capacitive technology registers touches precisely and needs no recalibration during use — one less thing to think about mid-service.

Fits neatly on the counter

The black finish suits most shop and restaurant environments. Because the fanless chassis has no vents to keep clear, you can position it wherever the counter layout demands, without worrying about airflow gaps. A power supply unit and EU power cable are included in the box. The operating system is ordered separately, so you choose the setup that matches your existing software.
