About
Zebra Xi-Series Replacement Printhead — 203 dpi
The printhead is the wear part that determines print quality in your label printer. When label text starts to fade, barcodes come out blurry, or white streaks appear across your prints, the printhead is telling you it's time for a change.
This Zebra replacement printhead is built for the Zebra 170Xi4 and ZE500 (6") label printers. Resolution is 8 dots per millimetre — 203 dpi — which covers the everyday labelling tasks that keep a small business moving: price tags, address labels, shelf labels, and shipping stickers.
Compatible Models
- Zebra 170Xi4
- Zebra ZE500, 6-inch model
Print Quality
203 dpi produces clean, readable output for standard barcodes and text fields. If your labels carry very small or densely packed QR codes, a 300 dpi head is worth considering — but for most day-to-day SMB labelling needs, 203 dpi does the job well.
Why Replace the Printhead Before It Fails Completely?
A worn printhead costs more to run than it costs to replace. Poor-quality barcodes slow down your checkout, cause scan errors at the warehouse or post counter, and force you to reprint — wasting both time and label stock. A fresh printhead brings the printer back to its original output and cuts material waste.
