About
TSC MH261T – Industrial Label Printer for Daily Business Use
The TSC MH261T is built to handle the kind of daily workload that would wear out a lighter machine. Whether you're labelling shelves, tagging outgoing parcels, or stamping batch dates on food packaging, this printer keeps up without making your staff wait at the counter.
Print speed and quality that holds up under pressure
At 305 mm/s, labels come out fast — fast enough that even a busy goods-in shift doesn't become a bottleneck. The thermal transfer mechanism and 203 dpi (8 dots/mm) resolution produce clean, sharp barcodes and text even at small sizes. That matters when a scanner needs to read a code reliably on the first pass.
Label sizes and roll capacity
The maximum print width is 168 mm, with media up to 172.7 mm wide — enough to cover the label formats most small businesses use day to day. Roll diameter goes up to 203 mm, so you can load a large roll and leave it running without stopping to reload every hour.
Connectivity — works with what you already have
The MH261T carries USB, USB Host, RS232, a parallel port (LPT), and Ethernet as standard, plus a Micro SD card slot. If your till system or warehouse software is older, that's not a problem — there's almost certainly a port here that speaks the same language. You won't need to replace your whole setup just to add a label printer.
Touchscreen and real-time clock
The built-in touchscreen lets you adjust settings directly on the unit — no laptop required on the warehouse floor. The real-time clock (RTC) means you can print the current date and time straight onto a label, which is useful for best-before dates, dispatch timestamps, or any compliance labelling that needs a time record.
Memory and media sensing
256 MB RAM and 512 MB Flash give you plenty of room to store large label templates and font libraries without constantly re-uploading files. Black Mark and Gap sensors detect different label stock automatically, so you don't have to manually re-configure the printer each time you swap to a different roll.
What's in the box
The printer ships with a USB cable, power supply unit, EU power cable, and a quick-start guide. You can have it printing on the same day it arrives.
