Green Spot guides the customer's hand
The built-in Green Spot targeting light shows exactly where to hold the barcode. This is especially useful when customers scan their own items — at a self-service point or kiosk — because they know immediately if they've got the angle right. When you need hands-on control, targeting mode lets you switch to a directed read without any tools.
Reads every common 2D and 1D code
The imager technology captures a visual image of the code rather than sweeping a laser line across it. In practice, this means QR codes, Data Matrix codes, and traditional barcodes all go through the same device without any reconfiguration. Codes on phone screens read just as reliably as printed labels — useful for loyalty apps, digital receipts, or delivery pickups.
Connects to the checkout system you already have
The multi-interface design supports USB (keyboard-mode), RS232, and IBM connections. The included Kiosk-Mount bracket holds the scanner firmly in position even during a busy Friday rush. It won't tip sideways mid-transaction, and it keeps the reading window at the right angle so codes pass through cleanly every time. IP52 protection means a splash from the counter or a wipe-down with a damp cloth won't cause any problems.
