The Magellan 3510HSi is designed to sit flush in your checkout counter and keep scanning day after day without any special attention from you. Sapphire glass that holds up to daily use

The scanning surface is made from sapphire glass, which resists scratching far better than standard glass. In practice, that means the scanner still looks clean and reads reliably after hundreds of products have passed over it each day. No cloudy surface, no missed reads caused by wear.

Reads barcodes and QR codes — including from a phone screen

The 3510HSi uses 2D imaging technology, so it handles traditional barcodes and QR codes equally well. When a customer pulls up a discount voucher or gift card on their phone, the scanner reads it without fuss. No second attempts, no awkward pauses at the counter.

Connects to most point-of-sale setups

The scanner supports multiple interfaces — RS232, USB, and IBM — so it fits the checkout systems most small businesses are already running. The kit includes a 4.5-metre straight USB cable and a mounting frame for in-counter installation. Power supply and power cable are ordered separately. A Micro SD card slot is there if you need it for future use.

IP52 rating handles the counter environment

IP52 protection means the unit tolerates light moisture and dust. Wiping down the counter at the end of the day won't damage it. It is built for the kind of environment where spills and cleaning happen as a matter of course.
