This Datalogic power supply is a straightforward accessory for cash drawer installations. It converts mains power to the 12 V DC that your cash drawer needs, keeping the drawer ready to open reliably shift after shift.

When do you need a separate power supply?

A cash drawer needs its own power supply when your POS terminal or receipt printer doesn't deliver enough current to drive the drawer directly. With the right supply in place, the drawer opens every time — including busy Friday evenings when every transaction counts.

Before you order

The power cord (C13) is not included — you'll need to order it separately. A C13 cable is a standard type available from most electronics suppliers; just make sure the plug end suits the wall socket at your installation point.

Compatibility and installation

The FPS18 is designed for Datalogic cash drawers. Before ordering, check whether your drawer model actually requires a standalone power supply — in some setups, the drawer draws power directly from the receipt printer and no separate unit is needed.
