FlexRange Imaging — Close Up and at a Distance

The 8675i uses Honeywell's FlexRange imager, which reads codes at both short and longer ranges without any manual adjustment. In practice, the same scanner handles both counter checkout and shelf-scanning in the back — you do not need two separate devices for two separate jobs. Point, scan, done.
