APG CashPlus Flip Lid 490 – the cash drawer that opens up, not out

When counter space is tight, a standard front-opening cash drawer can nudge customers or eat up room you simply don't have. The APG CashPlus Flip Lid 490 solves this by opening straight upward — the drawer stays within its own footprint of 490 × 109 × 172 mm and never swings into the customer or pushes other equipment aside.

A layout that stays organised

Inside you get four note compartments, eight coin sections, and a dedicated receipt pocket. That division covers a typical day of mixed cash and card payments without any reshuffling. Whether it is a busy Friday evening rush or a quiet Tuesday morning, the notes and coins stay exactly where you put them.

Lock system and the 800 series

The Flip Lid 490 belongs to APG's 800 series and comes with a two-position lock that uses a different key from other drawers in the same series. If you run more than one till, that means each drawer stays keyed separately — no risk of staff grabbing the wrong key and opening the wrong cash drawer.

The anthracite finish is neutral enough to sit alongside most counter colours without drawing attention to itself.

Compatibility
