Honeywell SmartSystems Licence

If you have more than one Honeywell device on the floor — a POS terminal, a barcode scanner, or another handheld — keeping track of each one individually takes time you don't have. The Honeywell SmartSystems licence brings all of them into a single management view, so you can see what's running and what needs attention without walking the floor or calling a technician.

What it does in practice

The licence covers two things: the SmartSystems platform and Staging Hub Management.

SmartSystems gives you a central dashboard for your Honeywell devices. Instead of checking each terminal one by one, you see the status of your whole fleet at a glance. When a device needs a firmware update or a configuration change, you can push it centrally — not device by device.

Staging Hub Management takes the pain out of setting up new devices. A replacement scanner or a second POS terminal gets configured correctly before it ever reaches the counter. When the busy season starts, the new device is ready to go straight out of the box — no time lost adjusting settings on a packed Saturday.
