Star Micronics VFD Customer Display for Your Till

A customer display is a small addition to your checkout that pays for itself in smoother transactions. When customers can see each item and the running total in real time, they stop asking "how much was that?" — and the queue moves faster. The Star Micronics VFD display is built to work directly with Star's own hardware, so there's nothing to configure and no extra cables to hunt down.

Compatible Star Micronics hardware

The display connects directly to:

• ·mC-Print 2 and mC-Print 3 — compact receipt printers suited to cafés and restaurants
• ·mPOP — the combined cash drawer and printer popular in small retail
• ·TSP100 series — one of the most widely used receipt printers in Finnish hospitality and retail

Because this is a manufacturer's own accessory, the connection works straight away — no drivers, no setup wizard, no support call needed. Plug it in, power up your device, and it's ready.

VFD technology in a working environment

VFD (vacuum fluorescent display) produces sharp, bright characters that remain easy to read even under strong overhead lighting.
