Star MCP30 – Receipt Printer Built for Daily Heavy Use

The Star MCP30 is a direct thermal receipt printer designed to handle the demands of cafés, restaurants, and retail counters day in and day out. It sits low and compact on the counter with front-exit paper feed, fitting naturally into your checkout workflow without taking up extra space.

Receipts out before the card is back in the wallet

At 250 mm/s, the MCP30 prints fast enough that your customer has their receipt in hand before they've finished putting their card away. On a busy Friday evening, the queue won't grow because the printer can't keep up.

Connects to your existing till setup

The MCP30 comes with both USB and Ethernet as standard, so it works whether your till is connected over a local network or plugged directly into a computer. The drawer kickout output is built in — no separate adapter or extra cable needed.

Automatic cutter keeps things moving

The built-in automatic cutter trims each receipt for you — one less thing to do by hand when it's busy. The printer takes paper rolls up to 80 mm wide and 83 mm in diameter, which covers the standard sizes you'll find from most suppliers.

Everything in the box to get started

The MCP30 ships with a power supply unit, power cable with both EU and UK plugs, one receipt roll, and a quick-start guide. You can have it running the same day without extra purchases. It uses Star emulation, which is supported by most point-of-sale software used in Finland and across Europe.
