Star Micronics Ethernet Interface Card for Compatible Receipt Printers

If your Star receipt printer is currently connected by USB or serial cable, this interface card moves it onto your network in one step. Once installed, the printer is reachable from every till point or office computer on the same network — no extra cables running across the counter.

Why a Network Connection Makes Sense

An Ethernet connection is the practical choice whenever the printer's physical location is too far for a USB cable, or when more than one till needs to print to the same device. A networked printer is also simpler to manage: you can check and adjust settings through a browser without walking over to the machine.

In a café or restaurant, this means the receipt printer can sit at the service counter while the POS terminal runs elsewhere on the floor. No long USB extension cables to trip over, wear out, or replace.

Installation and Warranty

The card fits inside the printer following the manufacturer's guide. No specialist tools are needed, but if anything comes up during installation, Vaivatta's support team is on hand to help. The product is manufactured in Taiwan and comes with a 12-month warranty.
