About
Star TSP143IIU+ receipt printer — works when it has to
The Star TSP143IIU+ is a direct thermal printer built to handle the daily pace of a café, restaurant, or retail counter. It prints fast enough that your Friday-night queue keeps moving — customers get their receipt before they've put their card back in their wallet.
Fits the setup you already have
The printer accepts both 58 mm and 80 mm receipt paper, so you can keep using whatever roll size you stock today without switching. Maximum print width is 72 mm at 8 dots/mm (203 dpi), which means text and barcodes come out sharp and legible even at full speed. That maximum speed is 200 mm/s — quick enough that the receipt is done before the next customer steps forward.
Connects to your till without fuss
The USB connection works directly with most point-of-sale software. The printer speaks ESC/POS, the most widely supported command language in receipt printing, so compatibility issues are rare. Everything you need to get started ships in the box: a USB cable, an EU power cable, and a wall bracket so you can mount the printer upright and free up counter space.
The auto-cutter does the small things right
The built-in auto-cutter trims each receipt cleanly after every print — no tearing, no creasing, no paper waste. It is the kind of detail that only shows up when it is missing: service flows, the queue moves, and nobody is standing at the counter waiting for a crumpled slip.
Four-year warranty gives you a longer horizon
The TSP143IIU+ carries a 48-month warranty, which is unusually long for a receipt printer. You can put it into service knowing it is backed for several years ahead. Country of origin is Vietnam.
