About
Star MCW10 WLAN Module — go wireless without replacing your printer
If you already own a Star TSP100 IV, an MCP3-series printer, or an mC-Label3 label printer, the Star MCW10 WLAN module is all you need to cut the cable. You fit the module into your existing printer, connect it to your Wi-Fi network, and your point-of-sale or ordering system finds the printer wirelessly — same printer, same workflow, no retraining.
Who is this for?
The MCW10 is a practical upgrade for cafés, restaurants, retailers, and workshops where the printer's position on the counter keeps shifting, a trailing cable gets in the way, or the nearest wall socket is simply in the wrong place. With no cable tethering the printer to a fixed spot, the area behind the counter stays tidier and you can move the printer whenever the layout changes.
For smaller spaces in particular, fewer cables on the counter means one less thing to trip over or untangle during a busy service.
Compatible printers
The MCW10 is designed specifically for these Star Micronics models:
- TSP100 IV — a widely used receipt printer in café and restaurant environments
- MCP3 series — a compact printer for both counter and mobile use
- mC-Label3 — the label-printing model in the Star range
Please confirm you have one of these models before ordering. The module is purpose-built for these three printer families and will not work as a universal add-on for other hardware.
Installation
The module fits inside the printer following Star Micronics' installation guide. Once physically installed, a short configuration step connects the printer to your existing Wi-Fi network. If you would rather not do this yourself, Vaivatta can help — get in touch and we will arrange either a remote session or an on-site visit.
Country of origin
Manufactured in China (CN).

In short: the MCW10 is a small add-on that makes your printer wireless. You avoid the time and disruption of sourcing, setting up, and learning a brand-new device — your familiar printer simply works without a cable from here on.
